Eric sends in his weekend race report:
I finished up my 2008 track season this past weekend at Elite Track
Nationals. I entered 4 events (Standing 250TT, Sprints, Kerin,
Team Sprint).
My placings were as follows:
Standing 250TT - 29th
Sprints - 20th
Kerin - Heat 1 - 7th Repechage - 2nd Overall - Did not Place (only 1
rider advanced from the Reps)
Team Sprint - 8th
The week prior I also did my last tune-up race at the ADT track (an all
endurance program)....sweeping all of the Masters events and racing the
Pro/1/2 omnium as well.
From the product perspective...this year on the track, P-X went from almost
nonexistent to commonplace at natz (I counted at least six other riders on
the P-X Stealth Carbon Track). That is Awesome...and I was still being
approached by many others with questions on the bike and wheels!
October 4thMatt Maher and Ric Gordon both competed in their final road event of the year, a 10K TT in Lawrence, KS. Matt
took 6 seconds off of his time from the previous year under harsher conditions and placed third.

Race Report from Trev:
Sunday saw the culmination of our road racing calendar with the Provincial HillClimb Championships. It was 4.8km up. Not super steep, but more of
a grind up to a ski hill.
I had a good warm up and was motivated, and felt like I was maintaining a great rhythm up the climb. However, it was not my day to win and I
placed 4th Cat1/2 with a time of 14:02. The winner crushing the rest of the field in 13:20.
And from Eric:
After a lackluster performance at Masters Natz I was looking to rebound at
Elite States this past weekend in Encino...and I guess I did just that. I
was able to capture all of the sprint titles this weekend, winning Gold in
the Kerin, Sprints and Team Sprint. The event wasn't attend as well as I
expected, but in spite of that I was happy to earn my elite state titles.

Trev's report:
My weekend started with a hilly and windy 10mile TT. I sported full PX kit,
with the bike, 101 front, and 82 rear (I don't have a disk). I also flew the
PX colours with the skinsuit, which is super quality and I love it.
I finished 3rd in the Cat1/2 race with a 22:21.
The next day was Master's Provincials, which I have won the last two years.
I am now a fully marked man. I rode my PX Ti with full 82's. I am really
starting to love this bike! Unfortunately, the course was changed to an
easier parcours and there was no wind to aid in a break-away attempt. I
tried all day to instigate something that would stick, however everyone was
content to mark me and leave it to a sprint, which was frustrating. I
flatted on the 2nd of 4 laps but got a quick wheel change and only had to
chase for about 5km, I ended one off the podium in 4th.
September 4thMatt Maher rode to his fastest time on the Gardner TT course in windy conditions.
