The 2008 season has been another strong effort from Team Planet X Masters.
Racing highlights have included Dick winning the ITU Olympic Distance World Championship in the 60-64 age group and
Tracy taking a 5th place at Worlds in the 40-44 age group. Dick and Tracy have also had a number of high profile triathlon wins
including the Toyota Desert International and Chelanman triathlons respectively. Eric has been tearing up the track with dominating
performances in the Masters 40+ as well as strong showings in the Pro/1/2. Matt has repeated his gold medal at state games and has
been competitive all season long in the Pro/1/2 ranks. Ric took double silver at state senior games and along with Dick has qualified
for National Senior Olympics in 2009. Trev continues to reign as the teams most versatile member racking up impressive wins in road racing,
mountain biking, triathlon and running. Particularly impressive are his running victories in races held in the snow. Check out the results
and pictures section of the website for more.
The Team has been using some new equipment, like our Pro Titanium Road bikes and the all carbon 50 clincher wheels.
Everyone is very impressed with the speed and quality of our Planet X equipment. Finally, many personal milestones have been passed,
like Michelle's recovery from cancer and return to training for more track conquests, Matt getting married to his longtime girlfriend Marisa,
and Ric adjusting to life as a single parent and tackling a new job.
